As a solo business owner, responsible business practices reflect my personal values. My love of the outdoors – walking, mountain biking, and wild adventures – has stayed with me since my 20s and inspired fundraising and volunteering for charities over the years.
At home, I minimise single-use plastics by shopping at refill stores, choosing eco-friendly cleaning products, and choosing green energy. I also prefer independent local businesses (and cafes) over large chains, supporting communities and local economies.
I’m not perfect, but I do what I can, when I can and am always looking for small ways to reduce my environmental impact. As a business, Jacquie Budd - Marketing Content Writer, I enjoy working with brands who share these values and believe in making a difference, however big or small, for the environment and their community.
